The Cortex multi-level stretcher has been designed to ensure safe patient transport in rescue vehicles. It allows for a loading and unloading procedure without the need to operate levers, minimizing the operator's physical effort.
Multi-level: The stretcher has 5 height settings that facilitate rescue procedures and help reduce strain on the operator's back during lifting maneuvers.
Lightweight: Constructed with an aluminum alloy frame.
Rear wheels with integrated brake: The 150 mm diameter rear swivel wheels feature a safety brake to prevent accidental movement of the device.
Front swivel wheels with directional lock: The 150 mm diameter front wheels can be set to fixed or swivel mode using a dedicated lever, allowing side approach to the patient's bed and better handling in tight spaces.
Sturdy: The Cortex stretcher supports up to 250 kg.
Easy to load/unload into the vehicle: The Easy Load system allows for loading the stretcher without the need to activate any levers, making the maneuver safer for the patient and easier for the operator. The anti-fall safety system ensures risk-free unloading.
Adjustable backrest: The backrest can be adjusted up to a maximum inclination of 80°.
Comfortable for the patient: Depending on the patient's needs, the foot frame can be set to the Contour (pain-relief) position or the anti-shock position using a convenient lever.
Can be used as a stretcher: The leg-lock system keeps the stretcher's legs elevated and locked, allowing it to be used as a standard stretcher in case of obstacles or rough terrain.
Fold-down side rails: Supplied with a pair of fold-down side rails, which can be unlocked using a dedicated pin.
Rigid ABS platforms: Designed to perform life-saving procedures.
Incubator transport capability: The Cortex stretcher is compatible with the dedicated ITC (Incubator Transport Interface).
Easy to clean: The ABS platforms are removable to simplify cleaning.
